Tuesday

We headed out early Tuesday morning to hike Snoqualmie Falls.  It was only a half mile hike, but it was all down-hill on the way there which means...a very long uphill hike back :)  The boys did O.K.  Isaac was a great cousin and helped them out the last little bit.

Emily, Camille, Courtney

Our little family of five!

The kids were pretending that they were characters from the Magic Tree House books and that they had been sent on an adventure to the "washy waterfalls".  It was a hoot listening to them play.

In a cool little cave just to the side of the falls.

Ethan in front of the falls.

Isaac helping both the boys uphill during the last little part of the hike.

After the falls we headed over to Snoqualmie to eat some lunch and look at the trains.  It was this quaint little town with the train depot running right through the middle of it.  There were old passenger cars and other train cars that you could go through.

A huge logged tree that was in the pavilion we picnicked in.

Our family just outside the train depot.

Courtney and Camille

Dirty Audrey.  First of all let me explain this picture.  It's really hard to get a good picture of Audrey.  She always looks away just at the last moment. This picture was finally captured by Whitney after probably 15 tries by mom, trying to document Audrey's candy soiled face.

Jake and Ryan sharing life's secrets...they were actually rebelling against a group shot.  Shocker!

We ended the day at Sarah and John's.  The kiddos preformed the play Isaac had written then we had some water balloon fun.  Overall a fantastic day.

Camille, Lucy and Courtney filling up tons of water balloons.

The audience anxiously awaiting the opening act.

Pirates sitting on stage left waiting for their cue.

Isaac narrating the suspenseful ending where the pirates have to choose if they will ultimately be destroyed or if they will change their ways and become guards (along with the robots) and protect the butterfly princess (Eva) and her powerful unicorn (Lucy).

Throwing water balloons at prepared targets.  Joy abounded.

Picture of aforementioned joy.

Ryan waiting for just the right moment to throw his balloons.

Afterwards for no apparent reason all the boys (except Isaac) stripped off their shirts and jumped on the trampoline.  Good times.
